Highland Park - Exterior PaintingRequest a Free Estimate
Exterior home painting is one of the most dramatic ways to change the look of your home. Since 1974, Castino Painting and Home Services has provided home painting and home improvement service to Highland Park homeowners as well as residents across Chicago and the North Shore.
When you decide to change the color of your home, you may be apprehensive about choosing a paint color, since whatever you choose will dramatically alter the look of your house. Thankfully, at Castino Painting and Home Services, we offer our clients the opportunity to utilize a computer program that takes photos of their home and applies paint colors to their homes. This provides an accurate representation of what a certain paint color will look like on your specific home.
How to Choose Exterior Paint
Typically, when the exterior of a house is painted, at least two, and sometimes three, colors are chosen. The first color is the main one, or the body color. The second is for the trim, and is typically a few shades darker or lighter than the body color. Finally, if a third color is involved, it will be used for accents, like the shutters and the door.
No matter what look your want for your home, the professionals at Castino Painting and Home Services will work with you every step of the way. We are dedicated to customer satisfaction, and will work to ensure you love the final product. If you want quality exterior painting in Highland Park or anywhere in the North Shore or Chicago, contact Castino Painting and Home Services for all of your exterior home painting and home improvement needs.
A message about lead paint and the new EPA Mandate
A new EPA mandated Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) program went into effect on 4/22/10 and was updated on 7/1/10. This program is designed to protect against lead-based paint hazards associated with renovation, repair and painting. This program mandates that contractors working in homes and child-occupied facilities built before 1978 be trained and certified in lead-safe work practices. Castino has been “lead certified” and we are following all EPA rules and regulations. Our Certification Number is NAT-19937-1. As of 7/1/10, homeowners cannot opt out of this mandate. Castino has the right to refuse any job dealing with lead paint. Non-compliance carries a $32,500 fine for contractors. Please call us with any questions or concerns.
